Here is the latest update on the 429 Construction:
The appliances are being installed in floors 6, 5 and 4. Washers and dryers haven’t been hooked up, yet. Carpet is laid in the 6th floor corridor. Corridor lights (sconces) are installed on 6th floor. Painters are working today (Saturday) on the base-coat in the Thrift Shop. They will be starting the last round of touch-ups on the 6th floor on Monday. The line painting in the parking garage was done today (Saturday). There has been good progress on the siding, but there is still a ways to go before that’s completed. The elevator is operational (used to take up appliances), but it has not been certified for public use yet.
