P.I.T. Stop, a ministry of Kamloops United Church, and Rotary Daybreak, are excited to provide our guests the 2015 annual Christmas Dinner on December 13.
We are planning on providing 220 bags with new items for our guests to take with them. We are asking for your help to make this happen through your kind donations which could include the following: Gloves and / or mitts Winter hat Washcloth / hand towel Warm socks Underwear / Long underwear Pocket tissues Disposable razors Comb and / or brush Small toiletries such as bar soap, shampoo Personal size hand antiseptic Toothbrush / toothpaste Lip balm Small box of chocolates Packages of hot chocolate Pet treats
Please bring items to the Kamloops United Church office, 421 St. Paul St. by Thursday, Dec 10. As well, we welcome your donations of clothing, coats, jackets, shoes, boots, socks, sweaters, back packs, blankets, sleeping bags, etc. We will continue to try to help our guests by making these items available past the Christmas Season and on into the cold months of January & February.
If you prefer to make a cash donation, you can receive a tax receipt and that money will purchase many additional items for PIT Stop guests and families.
