December was a busy month with special lunches, the labyrinth, special worship services and socks, socks, socks!
The Prayer Shawl group gathered for a lovely dinner in December. (Lois is missing from the photo as she was the photographer.)
A candlelight labyrinth walk was held in celebrations of the Winter Solstice, Dec. 21st.
KUC offered two Christmas Eve worship services: one specifically designed for young families, the other a later Candlelight Service. Syd, Shelley and Clare lit the Advent candles and Christ candle at one of the services.
On the first Sunday after Christmas, worship leadership was offered by Alix Dolson. A special delight was the manger filled with special socks for the guests of PIT Stop (our hot meal program). The socks arrived from Korea, a delightful and colourful gift from Charlotte Rollans.
The Prayer Shawl Ministry group enjoyed a special Christmas lunch at The Shores. (missing is the photographer, Lois!).
