In addition to regular donations, we have been asked to help a family with a very autistic child. He will eat only very specific things and only specific brands. They have been getting help from the food bank for the rest of the family, but these products are not available there and some are frozen.
Taquitos, the frozen (yellow) No Name variety
Frozen shoestring potatoes (less brand critical—must be “shoe string”)
Chicken nuggets or strips
Tostitos (brand) plain Natcho Chips
Dad’s (brand) chocolate chip cookies
They know it’s not health food, but have no choice. Hunger will not motivate the boy to eat anything other than this and some “carbo” things that they can get at the food bank. Every new food he adds is a great victory for them.
Frozen things can go to the Kitchen before the service and please put them in the freezer.
