“How Honesty is Destroying Christianity & Deeping Faith”
There are three opportunities to see the video of Rev. David Felten’s presentation given at Epiphany Explorations in Victoria earlier this year.
Tuesday (Feb.24) morning at 9 a.m. (in the KUC sanctuary)
Tuesday (Feb.24) evening at 5 p.m. (in the KUC sanctuary)
Thursday (Feb.26) morning at 9 a.m. (in the KUC sanctuary)
With the revelation that more and more Christian clergy are simply going through the motions, afraid of being honest with themselves or their congregations, one of the primary reasons for the irrelevance of mainline Christianity becomes clear.
What does being honest about what’s in the Bible do to people’s understanding of Christianity? What does being transparent about the origins of creed and doctrine do to people’s practice of everyday “church”?
Join David Felten for practical strategies for leveraging honesty and transparency into a deeper, more relevant faith.
