“Lois Wilson (former UCC Moderator, and Canadian senator) joins Siobhan Chandler who recently has been a Visiting Research Fellow (University of Waterloo) at the Centre for Studies in Religion and Society at the University of Victoria. Siobhan’s research focuses on the rapidly growing number of Canadians who say they are spiritual but not religious. Noting that religion scholars are just in the early stages of research on this large but amorphous group, Chandler has identified four key ways the term “spiritual but not religious” is being used as a form of religious self-identification, each with its own set of implications.”
