Remembrance Day: Nov. 11
November 11 is the special day that we set aside in our busy lives to remember with appreciation those who have fought for our freedom in the First World War, Second World War, Korean War, the Gulf War, in Afghanistan, and now, in Iraq. Remembrance Day this year is especially poignant with the deaths of two Canadian soldiers on home soil in October, victims of targeted killings.
Thank you to those who have died keeping us free and to those still in the Armed Forces, fighting to keep us free in our wonderful country of Canada.
