Using content, conversation and connection, John shares insights learned as Hillhurst United Church in Calgary has been resurrected to new possibilities.  John Pentland has been the minister at Hillhurst since September of 2005 after working in rural, urban and inner-city congregations.  He studied at universities in the USA and Canada, earning his DMin. in 2002.  He is passionate about making connections between religion or spirituality and living a meaningful life.
