Many in the congregation may have read recently in the Kamloops Daily News (KDN) that the newspaper’s parking lot will be managed by “Impark” in the future. We have spoken with the parent company of the KDN and sought their support for KUC’s continuing use. They are currently considering how they could work with us to provide some limited parking use for the Church, especially during our redevelopment phase.
In the meanwhile, until a final arrangement is made, we can utilize the KDN parking lot only with an authorized KDN parking tag provided by the Church office. We advise that since Impark is now policing the lot, that without a proper parking tag, regardless of the day or night, weekday or weekend, that no other vehicles should be parked in the KDN lot without the risk of receiving an Impark ticket.
